Champions in Motion - Cheerleading Location: Lake Kennedy Center It’s time to cheer! Champions in Motion is a low-cost competitive cheer team that has been around for over 35 years. Class is $12 per week and no experience is necessary. Ages 4-18 are welcome. Ages 4-6, 5:45pm • Ages 7-9, 6:30pm • Ages 10-18, 7:15pm * Must register with Champions in Motion ACTIVITY CODE AGE DAY DATES TIME FEE 550135-01 4-17 Th Jan 2-May 29 5-9pm $12 Champions in Motion - Martial Arts Location: Lake Kennedy Center Champions In Motion Martial Arts • Ages 4-18. Wednesdays, $10 per week Students will be taught kicks, punches, blocks, stances, katas, sparring combinations, and other martial arts/self-defense tech- niques and strategies. Students can progress through belt ranks all the way from white belt (beginner) to black belt. Students will learn safety awareness, stranger danger concepts, and proper ways to deal with bullies and other potentially dangerous confron- tations. Other benefits of this program will be improved self-confi- dence, self-esteem, leadership skills and focus.

YOUTH PROGRAMS Children ages 2-7 will learn one passive sport and one active sport each week, with a total of ten sports taught in this monthly program. It focuses on the fundamentals of each sport as well as learn about our muscles, body, and nutrition with our superhero family of characters. These classes are designed for beginner and intermediate riders, 5-16 years of age. Riders will learn various tricks, safety, and ramp etiquette, and how to fix their equipment. Participants must supply their own equipment. During this program breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack is provided. Children will be able to work on their literary and handwriting skills, as well as participate in a variety of STEM activities. Clay Kids (8-12 yrs) with Dawn Ingram Location: Cape Coral Art Center Students are taught how to construct hand building techniques such as pinch, coil and slab to make projects using clay. Projects will be worked on through steps of construction towards the finishing steps with glaze. Clay, glazes and firing are included in the fee for the class. This class can be messy so students should dress accordingly.
