Learn the fundamentals of basketball from a seasoned basketball player. Lessons on shooting, dribbling, ballhandling and passing will be taught. Students are taught how to construct hand building techniques such as pinch, coil and slab to make projects using clay. Projects will be worked on through steps of construction towards the finishing steps with glaze. Clay, glazes, and firing are included in the fee for the class. This class can be messy so students should dress accordingly. No class on Wednesday, 11/11/2026. Participants will learn drawing and painting techniques and explore their creativity with fun painting and drawing projects. This class is for children ages 7-11. Class is monthly/each class is $7.00. Class is $12 per week and no experience is necessary. Students can progress through belt ranks all the way from white belt (beginner) to black belt. Students will learn safety awareness, stranger danger concepts, and proper ways to deal with bullies and other potentially dangerous confrontations. Other benefits of this program will be improved self-confidence, self-esteem, leadership skills, and focus.
